For the 2021 Bank Shot Cabernet, Wine Access paired New York Knick Josh Hart up with Maayan Koschitzky, the prodigious talent who serves as Director of Winemaking for Philippe Melka’s Atelier Melka. The result is a serious Napa Valley Cabernet, grown in St. Helena, Howell Mountain, and Oakville in the gorgeous 2021 vintage. Bearing a label that pays homage to Bordeaux, boasting aromas of black fruit, vanilla bean, chocolate, and currants, it’s full-bodied yet beautifully balanced.
